Parents Circle is in private beta. By signing in, you let us read your Gmail to build your daily brief and answer questions. The service is provided as-is — verify anything time-sensitive yourself. We can turn the service off, and you can cancel any time by revoking Google access.
Parents Circle ("the service," "we," "us") is a personal project that reads your Gmail with your permission and produces a daily email brief and an Ask chat. It is operated by an individual developer.
Parents Circle is in private beta. That means:
You agree that:
The service is offered "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for missed deadlines, missed RSVPs, missed appointments, financial loss, family conflict, or any other damages arising from your use of the service.
If you live somewhere that doesn't allow these disclaimers, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the greater of $50 USD or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which during the beta is $0).
You can stop using Parents Circle anytime by:
We can suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, if Google revokes our access, or if the service is shut down. We'll give you reasonable notice when possible and let you export anything we have on you.
Parents Circle (the code, brand, design) is owned by the developer and licensed to you under these terms for personal use only. You retain all rights to the content of your Gmail and to anything you write into the chat.
If we make material changes we'll email signed-in users at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
